That's reminiscent of what you see in Europe (or at least Paris, Warsaw, and Kraków to name a few places I remember seeing them) - full screens that give you estimate countdowns to the train's arrival at various upcoming stops and such. It's basically the next step up from the FIND. Hopefully if such screens become standard on MTA, the FIND of today can just be incorporated instead of making people look at two different places.
