The R alone can't handle Astoria without vastly over supplying Bay Ridge. Ah, OK, supplement with the W (or just call them short-turning Rs).Worse, however, you've just killed the connection between Queens Blvd and 59th/Lex. Lots of current R passengers get off there. And you've vastly overprovisioned the 96th Street spur. |
