I think this is to allow transfers from the 2/4 at Atlantic, the Q over the bridge at Dekalb, the F at 4th/9th and the A at Jay St. That's a lot of transfers that otherwise would require an intermediate train at late night when they are on 20 minute headways. It really opens up a lot of options. |
