Back in 1997, my job sent me for a day to Bay Ridge/Sunset Park. It snowed, so instead of driving from Yonkers, I took the 1 from 242 to 59th, then the B to 62nd Street. Railfanned the whole trip- both ways!! It was awesome!!I also railfanned the 6th Ave Express tracks on many, many shorter trips. Excellent- for the very reasons you describe. |
