Did you pencil out the ke of a train at 20mph? Them things is heavy!Keep in mind there was a 275,000 locomotive in back. If the throttle control was somehow jammed in forward rather than idle, that could have been adding up to, mmm, ~85,000 pounds of push through the length of the crash. |
