Chris,The locomotive is possibly undamaged, so somebody should be able to report its number. The NTSB spokesperson said at one point that the recorder was being removed, but later (on 5 p.m. tv) she said the outward-looking camera would hold the data! To me, the big question is whether the locomotive was shoving or idling for the last quarter-mile into the terminal. |
