There are some portions of the NYCTS that utilize all concrete roadbed although those rails sit on rubber pads between the rail and the concrete. I thought WMATA also used rubber pads. In any case, it doesn’t address the issue of why WMATA doesn’t have any track or tunnel cleaning equipment. |
