Yeah, also never realized that the Brighton Express once went to Astoria, even if only for one day a week. I probably should have figured that out given the Franklin Ave arrangement but never put it together.Things were still simple enough back then to not warrant the lettering, especially if people knew their line names. I guess on Queens Blvd you had a mix of lettered and non-lettered (BMT) trains. |
