The TA didn't make it any easier with the limited route signs on the R40/42/44s. After the first few years of specific assignments they were all over the place and would display blank signs when they ran. Assuming that one could actually read the roll signs which were usually covered in graffiti. The "rule of thumb" in those days was to get on any train that was actually moving,regardless of the route. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
