I think the 1940's and 1950's Daffy Duck would make a better foamer than Bugs, even though Sam and Daffy weren't usually paired together. Elmer Fudd would also be a good candidate for a foamer. (The 1960's Daffy was much less "daffy" and just plain "nasty.") A good cartoon could also be constructed around Sylvester Jr. dragging his dad onto a train just to see the new trackage, with Sam as a platform conductor. |
