And that the area went from a bustling center of commerce and transit to a deserted hole between Downtown Brooklyn and DUMBO.I walked down Washington Street (Cadman Plaza East) on my way to work for five years. It's hard to believe all the commotion of this place until it was renewed urbanly out of existence. |
