The trucks should be salvageable, maybe the seat frames too. There's not much else I can think of that could be repurposed. But as the photos show the rust and rot on the car bodies, any kind of restoration would be extremely costly. Cutting out and replacing flat sections of rot can be done. Replacing rot from curved areas, especially the sign boxes would be laborious and costly. If the cars were stored in the confines of a dry warehouse, shielded from the sun, then they could be restored. The man who purchased these cars for restoration to live once again may have done a good deed initially. But to be stored unprotected in the elements for years was a slow death sentence.
