Perhaps, thinking out of the box is needed. A swap meet!How about a lend/lease between NYTA and Warshington, send 40 R/68/68a's for a trial on one branch, and note any change. Of course, an equal number of cars will come to NY for a trial on the "A" or "E" or "F" lines. NYCT rolling stock is to heavy for the elevated infrastructure and to tall to fit through the tunnels.
