Posted by zac on Mon Aug 22 18:09:35 2016 Is the power turned on, even if for testing, on the tracks on 2nd Avenue? Would it be possible to run a test train up there under traction power? Has one already run?And if not, when? I'm sure someone has an answer, or maybe not, as we'd already know. The politicians are ready I'm sure to take the inaugural ride, to take credit for something they had no input on. Let's hope it isn't a year and a half between the inaugural and the public opening as it was with Hudson Yards. Given the thread below on the pick, it appears they are optimistic it will open on time. |
