On this date in 1968, QB and QJ trains were extended to Coney Island, and weekday D Brighton Expresses were turned at Brighton Beach. I can just imagine the back-ups prior to this operation with D, QB, and QJ trains crossing in front of each other before entering Brighton Beach. WIsh I could see the QB and QJ timetables from that time.....
