Transit got into my blood at age 4, riding my trycycle down the sidewalk racing the Allen St. bus, , in Allentown, Pa.,and my father showing me the trolleys with the tinted green top windows on The Greenawalds via Albrights line. When we moved to Philly , I was age 6 and it got much better, PCC's on the Rte. 6 on Ogontz Ave., buses on Stenton Ave., etc, etc. |
