I fully agree people should be responsible for themselves.But what happens when that isnt the case? What do you do with the elderly,who had,and have a hard time making ends meet? What happens to the disabled,who cannot work? What happens to the folks who worked all of their lives,and still come up short? What happens to those who weren't able to put away for a,rainy day...or save..living from pay check to pay check? What happens to those who are priced out or forced out by ridiculous high rents? Sure..you May have SOME of the Reasons why things happen to folks...but Ive yet to see a way to Solve the problem for those who fall through the cracks. Ive Worked with these people...not to give a hand Out..but a leg Up on a head start so THEY CAN BE SELF SUFFICIENT. No ammount of could of,or should haves will do.Actions speak louder that any words. |
