Many Americans do not have enough in savings or other safety net measures to weather the loss of a job. Unemployment insurance goes only so far, and when the money runs out and you've been unable to find a new job, you're out on the street. That's a fact. As I have told you before, when a landlord wants you out, they can put you out any time they wish. All they have to do is make up a story about how their tenants are "selling drugs" in their property. Nuisance abatement laws help landlords do it.. So if you've lost a job, and can't pay the rent, your landlord doesn't necessarily have to go through housing court to evict you. He can dial three digits and put your ass out TODAY.

Of course, you won't believe it because in your privileged, wealthy world, you don't think it can ever happen to YOU.
