They would be no problem since 75 ft cars operate there now. Although I mentioned that the increased center excess needs to be considered, it probably won’t be any greater than the center excess of the 75n footers. The problem would arise if and when open gangway cars are considered for the IRT which has much tighter clearances even with the smaller car bodies. |
