I don’t know if it has changed since I asked several yards ago but I was told that CTA M/M were given a uniform allowance that could only be used to purchase dark blue uniform trousers but they were permitted to wear striped overalls which had to be purchased with their own money. From personal observation, the CTA M/M preferred the striped overalls which from what I saw were the hickory stripe rather than the narrower pin stripe. |
