I wonder about fleet numbering. I'm guessing that the R-179s will be 3001-3300. If the 179s replace the remaining R-32s, then 3301-5000 is open, more than enough for 1,470 cars (I'm subtracting out the SIRT cars, as they will probably be numbered behind the R-44SI). But MTA has said not all the 32s will necessarily be replaced by the 1792, hmmm... |
