R train countdown clocks coming to 3 stops? |

Posted by BrooklynTrain on Sun Jul 24 22:33:22 2016 According to two Bay Ridge local newspapers, countdown clocks will appear in the Prospect Ave, 53rd St and Bay Ridge Ave "R" stations after their complete refurbishment (along with better lighting, phone charging ports, etc).If they know when the R is coming at Prospect Ave, 53rd St & Bay Ridge Ave stations, can they: (1) Post this online, similar to what's done for the IRT and L train "subway time"? (At least we don't have to "guess" at the weekend supplement schedules that frequently change.) If we know when it's coming at 53rd, we can extrapolate to see when it's leaving 95th and 86th on weekends. (2) Put it at 36th and 59th too? If they know when it's coming at 53rd and Prospect, it's impossible not to know when it's arriving at 36th and 59th, where it would benefit FAR more people. |
