An 8 car train of museum R-1/9s operated regularly in the AMs in 1970 & 71 on the QB often signed up “!/Brighton Local.” In normal practice, AM QBs ran light back to CIYd unless needed for N service. When I was working 57/7, I got permission from Don Harold to run the museum R-9s if needed as long as they did not go on the West End and suffer the wrath of New Utrecht high school students. Many times that museum R-9 QB would return to Stillwell as a 4/Sea Beach Exp. |
