A station located there would not preclude tail tracks from being built.To suggest it would is foolish. The 1968 plan contained 4 extra tracks to store trains during off peak hours. While it is well established that the line has altered from THAT plan,for the PRICE they are estimating(5.5 Billion for 3 stations,connecting tunnels between the old work and new structures). Bottom line is,the price is far too costly so little work. |
