Westchester had them until at least 1999- and there was no talk of replacing them at the time.I rode the #2 from Van Cortlandt to its Northern terminal every day from Nov '96-Feb '99. What a drag-ass trip that was. Saw a lot of fights on that run too- most interesting were the ones between the bus drivers and people literally standing on the street who'd insult them. And the kids in the back doing scratchiti.... |
