I'll guess there's been at most a handful of similar incidents (lit signals inviting trains to collide) over the last half century. If the rest of the world were that reliable (including humans) you wouldn't need collision insurance.Welll, in New York City you still would ;-) Did they ever determine if that one was mechanical, electrical, or a design defect? |
