Very nice photos. How did the bench seat across the door in the tenth picture work? Would it be relocated when the doors needed to be operated, or were those doors removed from service when the car was preserved? And is that the interior of car 717?And in the nineteenth photo that's a very nice looking interior, but what's with the divider most of the way toward the back of the car? Did it divide two different classes of service? Or was it just an interior bulkhead? And is that the interior of car 418, 498, or one of the heavyweight passenger cars hauled bay that center cab locomotive? |
