On the arnines...GG/ Bklyn Queens Crosstown If I remember correctly.On the Standards, the side display sign "95th Street 4th Ave" underneath said "Broadway Local via Tunnel" Again to a 7 ish year old, I thought the sign was correct, we are in a tunnel! (not knowing at the time of bridge routes) "Broadway Local" had to be right too since we were under Broadway in Queens. But "95th St 4th Ave" threw me. Could'nt figure out that one since the station street numbers were decreasing (65th st, 46th St, 36th St...etc) as we were travelling. And where the hell is 4th Ave? No mention of Brooklyn on any of the roll signs on the Standards running to Forest Hills, if memory serves. |
