Although the Jerome Line was pretty much 100% L0-V prior to the introduction of the R types, sometime in the late 1950s, there were a few trains of Hi-Vs transferred from Bway to Woodlawn for Lex service and yo probably ended up on a Gibbs car at the head end with the sliding “merry widow” doors open. I have also heard that sometime in the early 1950s, Flivvers were operating on Jerome as well. |
