They were REALLY interesting cars. Had some friends down on "Satan Island" in the late 60's that I worked with, so rode the SIRT often. It was laconic like the Myrt, but seemed just so rural. And the conductors were pretty cool too, didn't mind if you flipped the seat as long as you put it back when you were done. :)
