There's nothing ridiculous about those light globes; they perfectly fit the historic character of the station.New light sources in the old globes, or the old, somewhat weak ones supplemented by newer lamps of the same spectrum but higher efficiency would be a nice touch, and *cheap* considering the $$$$ shoveled into the subway (building the absurd, likely to flood new South Ferry twice, for example). |
