Don't think they are exactly abandoned. The equipment is stored in the Saratoga and North Creek's backlot. Private car owners routinely store their equipment on short lines cause the rent is so cheap. There have been strange locomotives and cars sitting at Winslow Jct and Tuckahoe for years now. |
