The idea is it would be a split (M)/(T) because that also gives UES riders a 6th Avenue option they don't have. As said, to me that is the way to do because it also guarantees Broadway-Brooklyn riders not having to switch at any point to the (F) at Essex-Delancey for 6th Avenue service or having to ride to Canal for the Broadway Line or the (6) for instance.What the (T) via 6th avenue to 96th/2nd does is beside helping the displaced (L) riders is take pressure off the (6) at Broadway-Lafayette among other things. |
