I think I was told by someone (at the museums's transit history conference mid-1992) who was on the S4 tour that this section of the mezzanine was closed during the mid-1970's.- I know, that's not an exact informative answer at all being from memory. Maybe someone on this board knows an exact month/year for this closure. I used the 2nd Ave.-Houston station during spring 1971 and remember its full length mezz. still being open then. |
