I OTOH grew up riding trains pulled by GGis. And, in the fall of 67, when the Metroliners hadbeen supposed to be running the PRR allowed GG1s w/ approved cars in the consist to 100mph--particularly the Afternoon Congressional. Of course not as cool as today's Acela let alone real HSR, but way fun just the same back then. |
