IIRC (& the memory can play tricks) I'm sure that I saw a Queens-Roosevelt sign somewhere during the last 3 years or so - maybe on ebay (?)That website that sells pieces of cloth destination signs, had an image for a World's Fair sign, but stated it was not for sale. Would these signs have been blacked out/ painted over once they were considered obsolete? |
