Sure, but now there are at most 12 J/Z tph coming inbound and 8 M trains and 12 J/Z trains outbound. So if you have a conflict, maybe the outbound M sits for a minute or two. But it doesn't back up the J/Z trains behind it because they aren't coming on a regular basis every 2 minutes.If you're running 30 tph, and that's all the system can be managed to handle, then a delay of an M train causes a delay behind that can't be recovered from until rush hour is over. |
