Fumigation in the sense of an MTA employee in person yelling at you to get off the train only happens when a train is going into a relay or to a yard. It doesn't happen when a train is just reversing direction and continuing in service. At 14th/8th Ave, all you get is an automated announcement over the speakers that this is the last stop and everyone should get off. Nobody bothers you if you don't get off, and in fact in rush hour some people don't. |
