After all the work has been done, this new third tube could be used in rush hours to bring more trains into or out of the City.Rush hour capacity is limited by the layout of the 8th Ave terminal. The terminal can be overwhelmed with the existing 2 tunnels. It can be overwhelmed with only a single tunnel. |
