If you add 5 extra Ms, that's what you would have at Queens Plaza. So you would have to empty out an M without delaying the E behind it, because you have no margin of time waiting for the next train.The only way to do it is to have 8 platform conductors there to make sure everyone gets out of every car within 30 seconds. That's expensive, but cheap compared to all the other alternatives available to provide replacement services for L train riders. |
