The end is near for Rohr-built cars, besides the WMATA 1000s, the BART "A" and "B" cars will be leaving in a few years as well. I don't recall if any other property had Rohr cars.BART and WMATA were the only properties that had cars manufactured by Rohr. The BART cars were made in San Diego California, the WMATA cars were made in Winder Georgia. John in the sand box of Maryland's eastern shore. |
