It should by now be entirely obvious that FRA crashworthiness standards in no way significantly improve the outcome of the passengers relative to UIC equipment. Hell, the FRA has acknowledged that very simple fact, hence the alternate compliance procedures to introduce the UIC equipment we once were told was unsafe. |
