Posted by ntrainride on Wed Feb 10 10:49:12 2016, in response to Re: DeBlasio to propose light rail line, posted by SelkirkTMO on Sun Feb 7 19:22:36 2016. what's the point of posting that pic?...when that was built, automobiles weren't prevelant, there were no major highways, and the land was vacant. no relevance to building a lrt line today through densely populated extant urban areas surrounded by limited-access hwys, fully developed neighborhoods and existing bus and rail lines. |
