There is a single body two truck all-low floor tram made by Pragoimex that partially fits that bill. The prototype is undergoing testing in Prague now.The point of these new cars is to directly replace aging Tatra T3's which are the technological descendants of the 1948 US all-electric PCC. The new car obviously doesn't have much now 80 years young PCC tech left in it except its overall operating and performance envelope. |
