I checked the posted evening schedule on www.mta.info, and the gap shouldn't be that long, about 15-20 mins max. They take out every other R train for a period of time, but they're also assuming that the following R trains will get to 95 St faster than the previous ones, which would narrow the gaps. What if that's not true, that late evening traffic is heavier than earlier evening traffic? Maybe that's what's causing the delays? |
