This gets into why the reliability of the R train is such a disaster. Merging with Astoria trains southbound is not sufficient an excuse, not for the 20, 30, 40 minute waits, even on weekends.The M goes through quite a challenge too, merging with the F at 15 TPH, , then the J, yet it does not get into as much trouble as the R. |
