No. To make service smooth, efficient, and consistent, the N Sea Beach should be local, all the way from Coney Island to Astoria via the tunnel, 24/7. Currently, the N has four merges, with the D at 36th St., with the Q at Gold St., with the R at Prince St., and again the Q at 34th St. This royally screws over Broadway service. An N all-times local would have only one merge, with the R at 59th St. |
