Interesting how 50 years later, in the 1968 "Plan for Action", the phony arguments for demolition got started. Maybe some folks in the neighborhood had long memories, and recalled how they never wanted the line in the first place... and put the bug in Ronan's and Rockefeller's heads to get rid of the line. |
