Also, it doesn't take an idiot to realize that there isn't a market for three museums in the Tri-State area. And no, I'm not saying my name.2) I have been following the news about TMNY for a long time, from the old pre-2013 news, to seeing the facebook post bitching about the poor state of the museum in 2013 that sparked the recent efforts to restore cars, to everything going on now. 3) If I had control of the institution, I'd do the right thing for the cars. Send the transit cars to the NYTM, and the trolleys to other museums that can take care of them without a herculean effort. 4) I have experience operating and maintaining transit equipment. PLENTY of it. More than you could ever imagine.... I'm not posting proff because that would give away who I am. 5) As stated above, I have. I was there quite recently. 6) Yes You never know who reads this forum, and who you are talking to. Tread VERY CAREFULLY. |
