So what is it currently used for? The sign on the door says "Equipment & Material Control Office", but it certainly doesn't look like an "office". Is that just a fancy way of saying "storage room"?[The second message from the OP, R36 #9346, makes it clear that this is indeed the passage from the 42nd St. station (40th St.) to the 34th St. station (35th St.) under 6th Ave.] |
